It's a triumph!

I won the song prize!!! How amazing. It still hasn't sunk in. I still have to focus for sunday though so I'm trying not to think about it too much. Can't write much now as about to have my orchestral rehearsal for tomorrow. I'm just going to go out there and have a ball - I have nothing to prove now!

Your song programme and performance was exceptional - a well-deserved win. Many congratulations. The interpretation of the songs was so moving, the voice exquisite and beautifully controlled, nothing showy, simply serving the composers and the songs with extraordinary depth and faithfulness. Thanks for a most engaging and enterprising set. Good luck for Sunday.

Huge congrats and all the best for today. I've just got the 1st edit of our Strauss 'Morgen' recording which is lovely. How apt the CD will be launched in Cardiff at the Red Violin festival in October!

Wonderful performance last night. We listened to it live on R3 and the house resounded to such a cheer when the result was announced! We then watched you on TV to get another dose. Truly a well-deserved win.

We wish you all the best for tonight's final; we shall be rooting for you once again.

Well done is not enough....it's a fantastic achievement! So well deserved too. Tonight's performance will be a breeze..remember you have far and away the best communication and interpretative skills of anyone and without sounding the slightest bit biased...the best voice too! Your top notes are spine tingling, limpid and dazzling! I'm so proud to be able to call you my friend. Just enjoy tonight Lizzie...go girl!

Fantastic performance in the final - the Berlioz was ravisihg and seductice - sung with real artistry and sensitivity. You were no more than a cat's whisker away from winning, but I hope you're happy with your remarkable achievements this week. You've given me -and I'm sure many others - a huge amount of pleasure, and a real insight into an inspired choice of music. Good luck for the future.

You a brilliant - not only the voice, but the way you sing, great acting too! I was heartbroken that if was not you who got the main prize, but in fact it does not matter. Thank you so much for the pleasure.

Hi Liz

I was completely blown away by your performances. You are amazing. I always knew you would make it. I remember singing with you around the store when we worked at Virgin Megastore in Sheffield, many moons ago. It would be great to catch up with you but I have no way of contacting you. Congrats on all you have achieved. Well done babe. Lots of love John C

Elisabeth; your performances were a revelatory highlight for me during the competition. Your future is assured as an accomplished performer and you are well on the way to becoming a national treasure! Methinks you need to start a mailing list for your fan base and keep us informed of where and when you will be performing…
